Lazy Girl Blog, Episode 8

Piety
I've been trying to ignore it, but OMG, I got sucked in this morning after riding to the P.O. with Fern and Jeanne. Jeanne was on Queenie, her big, old rusted hulk of a vintage bike, I was on The Orient Express, Jeanne's new, beautiful bike, and Fern was on paw.

It was innocent enough, until we noticed that the Pie Shop was open. We stopped in. And there was Pie!

Toby is the pie lady at
Four and Twenty Blackbirds Pie Shop.
The original shop is in Brooklyn,
and pies are sent out to Orient several times a week.
The Chocolate Chess pie.
Jeanne and I shared a slice.
It was delicious.
This is the cool pie-cutting guide.
The Pie Shop used to be the ice cream shop.
They do serve some ice cream.
And Stumptown coffee.
Jeanne awaits pie.
