Lazy Girl at the Summer Soiree

Oysterponds:
Historical not Hysterical
The Oysterponds Historical Society's Old Schoolhouse needs a new roof. So a persuasive auctioneer raised $25,000 to pay for it from the generous crowd at the Summer Soirée last Saturday evening.

Richard and I attended the swellegant party which was held in Poquatuck Park, a broad swath of lawn which gives on to the Peconic Bay in Orient, New York. A white tent had been pitched with white pennants fluttering in the wind.
My sister, Jeanne Markel, and me.
My Pucci blouse is a gift from The Stylecrone,
Judith Boyd.
The pants are vintage via the
Manhattan Vintage Show.
